the british museum

Today we decided to check out the British Museum. It was highly recommended and the price can't be beat... free! I must say that it didn't disappoint. The collection of artifacts from around the world, some nearly 5000 years old, was quite impressive to say the least. Here are some pics (will add some more later):

The Rosetta Stone

Cleopatra's Mummy

Artifacts from the Parthenon

The pictures are great! and keep'em coming!!! You guys look like you're really keeping yourselves busy and having a lot of fun.
Wish I was there too! Sandy, Jerms, the Big C & I leave for Alaska on Saturday morning. So, by the time we're back to check in on your blog, you should have a ton of stuff on here! Be sure to include any crazy stories you might have!!
Have a blast at the "football" game -- Your dad & I will be thinking of you while we're here coaching Starla's team! -- You'll have to come watch one of her games when you get back!

Hey, bro! Sounds like you are having a great time. Sorry I missed giving you a proper send off. I was in Vegas for work. Somehow i have a feeling that Venice will be a lot different than the Venetian. Enjoy the real thing! Love you.
